Of course, it's a Blue screen of Death ( that conains a smiley ^^ )
The first time I've encounter this issue, it was the time that i've deactivated the Hyper-v in windows 8,
The BSOD pops up to me around 4 or 5 times successively, each time my computer restarts before the login screen .
and than i've decided to use my brain ( and yes i have one ^^ )
so, let's analyse the situation !
What is ( Bridge.sys ) : it's a virtual bridge created by the Hyper-V machine, in order to "Bridge" internet connexion to the VM you despose of.
- So ! it's related to NETWORK CONNEXION
We Know that windows analyse availible connexion in the startup time.
So ! Here The Solution :
easy ! you need to disconnect totaly your computer, ( turn off WIFI , unplug Cable ).
And Like Magic your computer starts normaly !
but wait ! don't tune on wifi or plug the cable ! you need some more steps :
- Go to " Network and Sharing Center " in your " Control Panel "
- Click on " Change adapter sittings "
- here the unremoved "Bridge" that cause the problem
- Remove it ^^
here you can connect your computer without problem.
Maybe this is a bug or something in the hyper-v disabling process
